Help tip to fix the Winamp streaming issue.

open Winamp and then hit the control p key. This will bring you to the Winamp preferences panel.

Then hit the home key, this will bring you to the top of the list of preferences. You should hear "Winamp pro". This is not necessary to do, but it helps because you know that you should be landing on a good starting point.

Then hit the i Key until you hear input. Note you should only have to hit the i key 1 time to get to where you want to be.

Then Tab over 2 times, then you should see a list view. This List view has all of the Winamp input plugins in it.

Next hit the down arrow key until you hear something like this, "Nullsoft MPEG Audio Decoder 4.4 [in_mp3.dll]". The version number may not be the same as the one shown here, because the version of Winamp maybe older or newer then mine.

Now you have to do a ALT key C,and that puts you in the mp3 decoder preferences panel. This panel is a malty tab dialog box.

Next thing you need to do is to do a control tab until you hear Streaming tab.

Last but not least tab over until you hear streaming data buffer, Change the number in here from 64 to 128, or 256 just to be safe. Now tab over 2 times and change the last slider to 100 percent.

Now you can just tab over to the ok button and hit enter.

This should have fixed the problem. One last note, What some times happens is that Winamp runs out of data in the buffer and then it stops. HTTP is not the best protocol for streaming audio, but it has the advantage that It usually works when all other protocols fail.
